Dear colleagues, the year 2008 marked a progress in the tourism industry within the great lakes region. Mapendano Voyage a renowned travel consultancy company based in Kigali-Rwanda, entered into partnership with Kifaru African Expeditions Ltd in order to boost the travel and tourism industry in Africa and the great lakes region in particular.

Local communities have the right to benefit from the increasing tourism industry. In collaboration with a selected local community around Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mapendano Voyages and Kifaru African Expeditions Ltd has set up a community link fund (CLF) that would help improve on the eco-activities of the local community group. We work with a community school owned by the local community group; supply donated scholastic and clothing materials to the needy children among our group.

Africa has cool and forest refreshed air, come and feel the wonderful paradise of East Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania) including DR. Congo.
