Day 1: Arrival and transfer to The BOMA guest house or Golf View Hotel for overnight stay. Clients pay for their meals on this very day.

Day 2: After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Entebbe Botanical gardens for birding. Here you will have good hours of birding on the best trails around Kampala, with over 150 species of birds! Look out for the Bare faced-go away bird, Great Blue and Ross’s Turacos, Red Chested, Klaas’s and Diederik’s Cuckoos, Great Reed Warbler, Fan Tailed Widow bird, Striped, Malachite, Giant, Woodland and Pygmy Kingfishers, Black Bishop, Grey Woodpecker, Olive, Olive bellied, Red chested, Olive etc Sunbirds, Northern Brown Throated, Black Headed, Slender Billed, Golden Backed and many other weavers and many more. A picnic Lunch in the gardens is worthy while, relax while birding and later in the afternoon return to your hotel (The BOMA guest house or Golf View Hotel) for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Birding to Mabamba. Early breakfast and transfer to Mabamba Swamp 50 kms west of Kampala. Bird en route to the swamps lookout for papyrus specialties such as the Papyrus Gonolek, White winged warbler, Northern brown Throated, Weyns, Orange, Black Headed weaver to mention but a few. Move to Mabamba swamps most of the birding here is done canoeing as we look out for the exceptional Shoebill Stork, African Water rail, Allen's & Purple Gallinule (swamp hen) Squacco, Goliath, Purple, Grey Herons, a variety of Egrets, ducks etc. There are also chances of encountering the elusive Sitatunga Antelope adapted to swampy habitats. Overnight stay at The BOMA guest house or Golf View Hotel.

Day 4: After Breakfast depart to Masindi. Lunch and over night at Masindi hotel or New Court View Hotel in Masindi.

Day 5: After an early breakfast, drive to Budongo forest for birding expedition en foot along the royal miles. On this occasion, birding is at different spots looking for specials like the Nahan's Francolin. Brown-backed Scrub-robin, Brown Twinsport, Black-bellied Firefinch, Chocolate-backed Kingfisher, Yellow-billed Barbet, Spotted and Slender-billed Greenbul, Black-capped Apalis, Puvel’s illadopsis, red tailed ant thrush, Rufous sided broadbill, yellow and grey longbills. Stop for Pic-nic lunch and then continue birding in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Masindi hotel or New Court View Hotel in Masindi..

Day 6: After an early morning breakfast drive to Murchison fall National Park via Kanyo Pabidi a section of Budongo forest, birding en route with a picnic lunch at the top of the falls. Afternoon/evening birding across the Nile along the section of Albert Nile in Murchison Falls. Overnight Stay at the Paara Lodge/Nile Safari Camp and or Red Chilli Campsite overlooking the Nile. B/L/D.

Day 7: After an early morning breakfast go birding aboard a boat towards the Nile delta. You will have a chance to see some of the key species including; the rare Shoebill, Secretary bird, Bat Hawk, Red-necked Falcon, White-crested Turacco, Bruce's Pigeon, Pel's Fish-owl, Standard-winged, Pennant-winged and Long-tailed Nightjars, Stanley’s Bustard, Northern Carmine Bee-eater, Rock Pratincole, Bateleur Eagles, and much more. Return in the afternoon for lunch and then a Launch trip to the top of the falls for spectacular view as the mighty Nile is forced up a seven metre gap before plunging to depth below. This is one of Africa’s most splendid water safari up the Nile to the base of the falls. As you travel up the Nile, look at the enormous Nile crocodile basking on the sand banks or gliding silently up the water. The return journey from the falls as the sun is setting is one of the most beautiful and relaxing of your experience in Africa. Overnight Stay at the Paara Lodge/Nile Safari Camp and or Red Chilli Campsite overlooking the Nile. B/L/D.

Day 8: Depart southwards to Kibale forest National Park via Butyaba Escarpment overlooking Lake Albert. Arrive early in the evening. Overnight at the Primate Lodge or Chimp Guest house. L/D

Day 9: After an early Breakfast, drive to Bigodi Swamp for birding activities. The swamp is owned by the local communities however it extends or attached to Kibale forest. It is also a home to the Scaly Francolin, Marsh Tchagra, Black-bellied Seedcracker, Green-backed Twinspot, Bicoloured Mannikin, White-naped Pigeon, Afep Pigeon, Narina's Trogon, Joyful Greenbul, Olive Long-tailed Cuckoo, Black Bee-eater, Blue-headed Coucal, Blue-breasted Kingfisher, Scaly-throated Honey guide and Black-faced Rufous Warbler. Afternoon lunch at the Chimp Guest house. Chimpanzee tracking is optional and at a cost of US $ 90 per person. Overnight stay Overnight at the Primate Lodge or Chimp Guest house. B/L/D.

Day 10: Depart southwards to Queen Elizabeth NP via Sebitoli section of Kibale forest NP. Birding in the early morning. This is a home to the Cabanis and joyful green bul, Green and brown twinspot, Uganda spotted wood pecker, papyrus canary, brown illadopsis, etc. We will have lunch at Garden restaurant or Rwenzori View Guest House in Fort-portal town. Afternoon transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP for overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Ecology Hostel.

Day 11: Early morning birding towards the famous Kasenyi Track, winding through grassland dotted with trees and nearby crater lakes. Our main aim is to locate Lions and other mammals including Hartebeest, Water buck, Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Oribi, Waterbuck, Bushbuck and family groups of African Elephants. Along the road we may find Scaly Francolin, Red-necked Spurfowl, several lapwings, Goliath Heron. Raptors include Martial Eagle, Banded Snake Eagles and Bateleur. Return to the Camp for lunch. In the afternoon we embark on a boat trip down the Kazinga Channel which is an incredible area for waterbirds i.e. Pink-backed Pelican, Malachite Kingfisher, Saddle-billed Stork, African Spoonbill, Yellow-billed Stork, Water Thick-knee, African Skimmer and over-summering Palearctic shorebirds. In the evening before dinner we may have an optional evening birding along the royal tracks searching for Gabon and Slender-tailed Nightjars, Thicknees and owls or even encountering with the Leopard. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Ecology Hostel. B/L/D

Day 12: With a packed lunch we transfer southwest birding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We bird through the seasonal Ishasha road – an area known for climbing lions. We check in at Buhoma Lodge or Buhoma community rest camp for overnight and dinner.

Day 13: With a picnic lunch join the forest for whole day birding. Walking along forest trails is a wonderful natural experience with hundreds of colourful butterflies and areas of streams and tumbling waterfalls. Bwindi is the Bird watchers paradise! It holds 348 species of birds and Contains 90% of all Albertine rift Endemic such as; the Short-tailed, Rusty-faced woodland and Grauer's Rush Warblers, Bar-tailed Trogon, Wilcock's Honey-guide, Yellow-eyed black Fly-catcher, Kivu Ground Thrush, Dusky Crimson Wing, White-tailed Blue Monarch among others, difficult or impossible to see in any other part of East Africa. An experienced bird watcher can identify up to 100 species in a day. Stay at Buhoma Lodge or Buhoma community rest camp. B/L/D.

Day 14: After breakfast, we drive to Lake Mburo National Park. A game drive on the way to the park headquarters will be rewarding since it might enable you to see the zebras grazing alongside the Ankole long Horned Cattle, topis, elephants, elands, impalas, buffaloes etc. Afternoon birding boat trip on Lake Mburo. Overnight at Lake Mburo Bandas or mantana camp.

Day 15: After breakfast, drive to Kampala lunch at the Wavah equator, then another stop over at Mpambire drum making centre then continue to Entebbe and then transfer to the Airport for departure.
